The PPVG Series is specifically designed to overcome the limitations of mechanical seals. By eliminating the gland packing and mechanical seal, this pump removes the risk of leakage and allows for dry running capabilities. This makes it the first choice for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) where running dry is a common operational risk.
Our pumps feature a heavy-duty cast iron bearing frame to accommodate vertical flange mounting and wall installation. The shaft is crafted from high-quality EN Steel, fully protected by a polypropylene sleeve to ensure it never comes into contact with the process media, extending the pump's lifespan significantly.
The unit utilizes a top centreline discharge and a self-venting volute casing formed of thick injection-molded polypropylene. The semi-open impeller is precision-molded with large, contoured flow passages to handle maximum liquid flow while preventing liquid from transferring through the outlet of the overflow chamber.
A unique feature of the PPVG Series is the injection-molded polypropylene overflow chamber. This component acts as a liquid lock, guiding excess liquid back to the sump. This smart design eliminates the need for a shaft seal while effectively managing fluid levels during operation.
